Help crabs be more active?

I see lots of ppl posting pics/vids of their crabs moving around during the day. Our crabs do not at all during the day. We will see them come out after the timer turns off the light.

I know they are more active at night… but for my curious 7 yr old son, he would love to see them more active while he’s awake.

We are getting a camera soon so he can see them at least from his iPad the next day.

Is there anything we can do with our set up to encourage more activity?
