Scared- Dangerous Toys (1989)
Dangerous Toys released their self-titled debut album in 1989.
It was just one of the many spectacular debut albums released that year and featured a blues-based sound with a metal groove: Guns n’ Roses meets AC/DC.
And it was the voice of singer Jason McMaster who took it to those comparisons. With the high register of W. Axl Rose mixed with the gravelly snarl of Bon Scott.
The debut album features many fantastic tunes: the first single Teas’n Pleas’n, Take Me Drunk, Bones in the Gutter, Sport’n a Woody… but the most brilliant of them all was the second single “Scared!”
Interesting Fact: McMaster once stated in an interview that the song was about Alice Cooper.
This is “Scared!”
