Is this graphic design "test" the norm?
I recently started applying to jobs. I applied for a graphic designer role at a Fintech company, and got shortlisted. The HR called me to tell me that I've been selected and that she'll be sending an assignment with a deadline of 48 hours. The assignment she sent me had 4 tasks: 1. Performance ad creatives - 3 static ads design 2. Short video story ad 3. CRM creatives fir whatsapp, PN and email 4. Social media post
And all of this for their new year campaign. And please note there's no defined copy for creatives whatsoever. Guys am I over reacting or is this too much? And over this, the mail mentioned that they send this assignment to EVERYONE who's shortlisted.
Is it just me? It feels unfair to do this, if you're my "testing" graphic design skills shouldn't one or two task suffice? Let me know what you guys think.
