Weird question for West Michigan parents. Are people in this area still circumcising their newborn males?

Wanted to ask a local sub rather than a parenting sub because I know popularity of circumcision is largely regional/cultural.

I know circumcision can be controversial but I’m wondering how people in the area handle it? I’d rather not, but my husband was concerned that if we don’t circumcise, our son would be the only one in school or on sports teams and get made fun of?

Is that an irrational fear or a legitimate concern?

Curious if it’s decreased in popularity in the area since we were in school.
