UCLA Vs. UT Austin Civil Engineering MS?

Hi! I am a structural engineering undergrad at UCSD and I'm having a very difficult time choosing between choosing UCLA or UT Austin for my MS in civil engineering (structural focus). I mainly want to work with seismic design and earthquake engineering.

Both are ranked highly (I think UT Austin is ranked Higher)

My intuition is telling me to choose UCLA as California is the earthquake hub of the nation. I am also born and raised in California so I am familiar with the area as it is. Although, I am not sure of the opportunities in the Austin area.
