Stop Checking Portals

Beyond your own mental well-being, these are manually updated (usually by an admin person) processes. They are selecting people’s applications, moving them into different buckets and categories, adding details, assigning them to people, etc. These result in changes to your status, which you may or may not see.

Which means if you are religiously checking it there is a good chance you are going to see these updates in process. Which results in confusion and questions. Stop looking. You will hear back. It is very rare for a school to fully ghost an applicant.
