Gmod timed out issue need help please

I am trying to join a Gmod server on multiplayer, one of those RP servers but when the loading bar finally finishes I get disconnected and states I timed out. I have verified the game files which did not help at all.

This happens to other servers I try to join not just one, and I really want to start playing Gmod multiplayer since the last time I played was around 2021 January.
