6F tore “ACL” - surgery next week.

Hey all - our 6 year old female is going to have surgery after tearing her "ACL." Anyone else who has navigated this with a large breed have any advice for us? She is a working line, very high energy, protector and overall lunatic. We are planning to essentially move everything to the main floor and camp out for 2 months. When we're home she'll be on leash, no couches or beds. When at work, we're getting a play pen of sorts to limit the area she is in that is about 46 inches high. Also, has anyone used the "leg covers" instead of a cone? She does not like the cone....at all. Thanks!
