First Fromsoft Game

I've just downloaded my first FS game, Bloodborne. What should I expect?

I typically stick to sports and games like Call of Duty, RDR, GTA, Ghost of Tsushima, Assassin's Creed, Last of Us, etc.. I'm hoping to enjoy this genre as I've read they are considered some of the best games ever made.

(Also just purchased Elden Ring)
