Fountain pens keep drying up

As per the title, my fountain pens keep drying up. I used to store them horizontally but switched to vertically with the nib to the upside.

My old ink was from Parker and the new ink is the Montblanc Mystery Black, the same thing happens with both inks.

I use converters on all my pens and I use a syringe to fill the ink.
