Cold Weather, or just Ancient Copper causing smudging?

I've been experiencing some smudging like this while writing in my bullet journal the last half a week or so. I've been using Diamine Ancient Copper for about two weeks, but haven't experienced this before now.

Currently, I'm on vacation up in the Rocky Mountains, where it's very cold, dry, and a huge altitude difference compared to home. Is this a possible reason as to why my ink is smudging? Even though it looks dry and I wait ~5 mins, it can still smudge in some places.
