Is build a nation save possible in FM24?

In fm22, I won the CL with TNS after about 17 years, I am 30 years in with TNS in FM24 but not even close to a CL. My reputation is so low I can’t sign anyone and I haven’t had one good youth player in the 30 years.

The difference between this and 22 and so crazy, has anyone actually had any success at all this year?
