Broken tiles - renter or landlord responsible?

Hi I’m trying to figure out what’s happened to our tiles and if it’s likely we caused this without knowing or it’s an issue with the house renovation that we’re done by the owner.

We have just had this massive crack appear on one of our tiles (first photo) which caused us to closely inspect all the tiles though our kitchen and find a bunch of hairline fractures throughout.

I have two theories on how the big one happened but honestly have no idea. I was hoping to get advice on if either of these theories are probably or if it’s likely something else and what our best course of action is.

Option 1. The tile with the biggest crack is by the back door which has started to drag on the ground over that tile and the ones next to it. We have to really lift so it doesn’t drag as it’s very heavy. Would it be possible that this caused the crack? Or would it be more likely the door is dragging due to debris of the crack?

Option 2. We recently got a puppy and it likes to throw around a heavy chew toy in a the kitchen and chase it on the tiles. The chew toys itself is a solid fake wood bit made for teething. While the chew toy is solid and heavy for a puppy toy, it is still only a puppy toy that weighs 100g.

Both these options don’t really seem likely to me but I’m struggling to think of anything else that could be the cause.

It might also be worth nothing that the tiles around the one with the big crack seem to shift and move as you walk on them

We have an inspection soon and I would like to know who is most likely responsible for this before then
