Pelvic floor is too tight/strong?
23 weeks FTM, went for a standard scan today and my obgyn mentioned that my pelvic floor looks too tight and strong lol. I’ve been doing legs twice a week all throughout pregnancy (squats, rdls, leg press, lunges etc) and before. And also took up some pelvic floor exercises or Pilates once a week as well as practicing kegels on and off which my obgyn was aware of.
What does it mean now for exercise? Should I stop doing legs? Do less weight or different exercises? Is there something else I should focus on?
Haven’t seen a pelvic floor therapist or anything yet.
