This VA physician will decline to respond to the OPM weekly email request.
From [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) on 2/28/25 around 7:30 pm:
"Please reply to this email with approx. 5 bullets describing what you accomplished last week and cc your manager. Going forward, please complete the above task each week by Mondays at 11"59pmET. Please do not send links, attachments, or any classified/sensitive information. If allof your activities are classified or sensitive, please write "All of my activities are sensitive".
The VA knows when I log in and out, which programs I am using, every email and Teams message, every medical record I open, every note I write and billing code I generate. I am always in house, in person.
In government service, I am accustomed to filling out lots of paperwork, forms, disclosures, trainings, etc. But this is different.
I will not respond to this email, now or ever. I love my job, and my Veterans, but I will find work elsewhere if they let me go. Not everyone has this 'luxury', given limited work options in specialized fields or personal financial needs, but perhaps those who do have some latitude will decline to submit.
