Charger Location in Garage
Hi All -
Looking for some input for where to install my EVSE this coming Monday. Having new 240v line run so have some options. Using a ChargePoint Flex hardwired. Panel is in basement on other side of the house.
In the image (not to scale, also ignore my car choices the 2d floor planner was limited on choices 😂), I have 3 options.
Option 1 - ideal location for inside and outside charging (if I back in), but not ideal for the way my exterior door and walk way are situation. Would create a tripping hazard and I don’t think the 25ft are sufficient to go over the top.
Option 2 - fine spot, but limits charging to the right spot as it wouldn’t reach for the other side in most cases. Won’t reach outside.
Option 3 - best option for in garage charging I think, but won’t reach outside of course.
Am I missing anything? Looking forward to any input. Thanks in advance.
