Dude i tested positive for covid

(No censors)

I am terrified. I thought i had a lil cold because my symptoms are pretty much all sinus related, im on day three now. My symptoms have been on and off body aches, on and off low grade fever, stuffy sinuses with drainage, sore throat from sinus drainage, night sweats headaches and exhaustion. I took a test last night because i was gonna go to a party on halloween so i wanted to be sure it wasnt covid but of course it is.

My partner who i live in an apartment with has sinus symptoms and maybe some nausea too but they took a test and was negative which is weird.

I guess im overwhelmed, my work has a stupid points system for attendance and a complicated way of doing leave of absence, their covid policy now treats covid as if its any other flu so i might even be denied. I had to leave early today because i felt my fever coming back, im glad i wore a mask at work today.

Im also scared of the nausea, ive had some very very occasionally and i think its from anxiety or from bloating and constipation (i think i have a condition, i sometimes go a week without a BM). All i know is that my belly sometimes feels unsettled and its scaring me.

Some say you do throw up with covid, some say its less likely, some say if you didnt with covid or the flu before then you wont now but heres why im confused; as a kid i had the flu once and threw up three times, folks say kids throw up more often from sicknesses than adults. If i threw up as a kid, would i now??? I was a kid which makes me think i wouldnt now as an adult but i dont know..? All i know is that im overwhelmed and afraid.

Ive been trying to tell myself that if i do throw up i will be alright but it hasnt helped. I dont know what if feels like or tastes like, i dont know if ill be able to know when it happens, the uncertainty scares me so much.

TLDR: i tested positive for covid, i have sinus symptoms but im scared because i dont know if throwing up is a symptom or not
