USA EV Charger Tax Credit Rant

Just filed our taxes today and found out we don't live in an eligible area to claim the 30% tax credit. So the geniuses who drafted this legislature think plebs who live in $200k condos shouldn't be eligible, but ppl who live in million dollar McMansions should get the credit?!

Why all this means testing? a. It's not like you're giving it away for free, just 30% of it and b. It's not even handing out money like they did during covid. It's a tax credit.

The $700 I would've received wouldn't change my life, but pissed me off nonetheless. Oh well, more money to subsidize the fossil fuel industry I guess. SMH. Rant over.
