Anyone with Postdranial hypotension use a CGM?
I have diagnosed POTS since 2021. For whatever reason I’ve had an abrupt inability to maintain fluid balance. I started experiencing postdranial hypotension after eating with passing out. (Yes drs are aware.) after a few weeks we started catching some weird sugars going on which ultimately led to a CGM monitor for continuous hypoglycemia episodes after eating.
I am curious tho, because I found a random persons personal story of using a CGM where they had CGM data using a sauna and stated a dehydrated state spiked their glucose.
I am wondering now if the blood volume being diverged to digestion along with fluid could somehow make the body think it’s dehydrated? Than as a response the body spikes blood sugar and than I have a rapid blood sugar drop from over production of insulin.
So I have two things occurring together, postdranial hypotension along with reactive hypoglycemia that started spontaneously but I cannot figure out why or which is causing which. Does anyone else with postdranial hypotension have CGM data that would relate?
