Lesson learned. Never ever take an order you normally wouldn't.

I have a full time job and DD is my side gig for extra money. I work the dinner shift a few nights a week. I try to make $200-240 per week. If I can make $60 in a night, I go home.

I was close to goal and got an order from Taco Bell. $7.50 for 2.5 miles. I hesitated. Then I accepted.

I never take Taco Bell, but I thought maybe this one time it would be easy. I get to TB and nobody will acknowledge my presence. The order is not even started by the time it is supposed to be ready, but I think, "How long can it take to make a couple of tacos?" I wait. 15 minutes later, the order is finally ready. (Yeah, I was going to unassign, but I'm at 89% and I like to stay above 90% so I can drop shitty orders without any worry.) I figure, "Hey, it's just one order and it's my last one of the night, I'll hang in there."

I finally get the order, after the time I'm supposed to have delivered it. I drive to the location. I find it's a "hand it to me" and I've arrived at a bar with 200 people inside. It's so loud, even screaming out the customer's name, nobody would hear me. I texted the customer, "How am I supposed to find you?" No answer. I drop the order next to the front door, take a picture, and head out. I text the customer, "Your order is next to the front door." I get halfway home and I get a message - "It's not there."

Fuck you, bitch. Who the fuck orders Taco Bell from a crowded bar that serves food? Expecting a contract violation tomorrow.

If you ever think, "Maybe just this time it will work out." Just. Don't. Do. It. Fuck me.
