Advice on valuable items in mc room

Hi, title says it all; my mom was an accomplished violinist (though, not her profession). Presently her violin is with her and in her line of sight at all times. We move her to mc next week. It has sig monetary value and more importantly I think it is still very special to her. It was her most valuable possession pre advanced dementia. She can no longer play. Is it advisable to let it be in her mc room? Or better to leave at home? Thank you
