Trolling at the gate, opinions?

I've had this in almost every game I've played killer and where they managed to open the gate.

It's always at least two or three, sometimes all four survivors just sitting there at the finish line just waiting for me to run in to just vault in front of my nose.

I get it when people wait in the gate for the last one or two to make their way there to help distract the killer so they can make it.

But right now I had the most frustrating one. Two already escaped, the other two teabagging inside the gate while I watch them, having accepted my fate that I won't be able to get them anyway anymore and they just stood there trolling me for another half of the endgame collaps.

I just don't understand why. Is this like a normal, accepted thing for survivors to do or do they do it just to piss of killers? It's just frustrating
