asked her to be my girlfriend too early

I went on 5 dates with a girl and they all went very well. She seemed to be having a good time on all of them and introduced me to her family and always was available to hang out. After one of our most recent dates (almost a month ago 😬) I asked where she saw us going. She said that she wasn't talking to anyone else but wasn't sure. We kissed that night and everything seemed fine but a few days later she texted me saying that me asking that so early had scared her and since then she has barely talked to me. We've hung out once since then and things seemed normal but she still barely talks to me. I know that she is very busy so I might just be overthinking but it always seemed like she would make time for me before. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
