How to go about teeth issues

I have been going of first dates recently trying to find my person. I just went on a date with a guy and it went well, same values and great communication. There is just one thing, it looks like something is wrong with his teeth. Ive tried to look up common teeth problems to figure out what it was but I couldn't figure it out. I didnt get a good look and cant reallt describe it well but i will try. It looked like a whole bunch of filling built up on his bottom teeth, it wasnt on his top teeth. Ot didnt look like what i see plaque and tarter build up on the internet. I don't need straight white teeth but honestly I'm worried about kissing I'm the future. I've had 1 date with him and don't want to be rude so I'm not sure what to do. Thoughts?
