Ladies, how would you honestly react to an unattractive guy asking you out?

Let's say you're out in a public place but not in a hurry and there are many people around. An unattractive guy strikes up a conversation with you. He seems a bit nervous and not very socially adept but he's at least respectful. He also looks like he's close to your age. He ends up asking you out or offering his contact info. How would you honestly react beyond just saying no?
