Periodic major frame drops in 2.12

So, I've been experiencing major frame drops, from like 60-50 fps to about 20-10 fps, it stays that way for a few seconds, and then it goes back to the 60-50 fps. It didn't used to do this, and I can't find any info online. Is it just me? I have an Intel i5-6400, 16gb RAM, an SSD, and a GTX 970 updated to v551.86 drivers, if it helps. I usually run the game at 1080p, with AMD Super Resolution on performance set to 0.75 and high texture resolution, and this didn't happen before 2.12a. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!
