What do you want people to know about the experience of Long Hauling?

I'm being interviewed by a local news channel today about my experience with Long Covid. I've got 10 minutes to share my experience and share what I think people should know about Long Covid.

I'm planning to share how my experience of Long Covid is more like my experience of having a brain injury than it is like any flu I've ever had. I'm going to share how essential it is for people with Long Covid to receive care from our communities and from our governments. I also want people to know that if they're noticing that they can't do all the things they used to be able to do before Covid, it's crucial that they stop and ask for help, support and care - instead of trying to push through. And, that orienting to the principles of Disability Justice ( https://www.sinsinvalid.org/blog/10-principles-of-disability-justice ) and Radical Care (Interdependence, Boundaries, Vulnerability, Integrity, Creativity) might be the most powerful thing we can all do create a world where people with Long Covid, and all sick and disabled people can live fulfilling, connected lives full of joy and care.
