I found out my bf was seeing someone I liked.

Recently me and my bf, m24 and me, f23, were cheating on each other with the same person. Just a little context, my bf and I are both pansexual, nothing new. So me and my bf have always had an open relationship so that meant (for us) that cheating wasn't fully cheating. (if it makes sense good 4 you.) so me and my bf went to this thing every Wednesday night at this pub-like restaurant where you could js hangout and make new friends, all the basic fun stuff. So I am talking to this nice guy, he's like 25 years old or something and he's really funny and nice, all the basics. I notice that over time, he keeps looking over at my bf, and I was like "okay whatever, I get it or whatever" and I obvi didn't think a bunch about it so I js ignored it. Then, my best friend shows up to the place and she tells me "yeah I used to know him, he's certainly an interesting person." and I was like "okay whatever he's prolly friends with my bf." and so my friend, let's call her Tammy. So Tammy's like "Nah he's dated a lot of people before, he went to my highschool." and I was suprised, ovi but i didnt really acknowledge it because I didnt care at that time. (sorry my spelling ios bad, English isnt my main language and im typing on a computer in the dark.) so me and Tammy hangout the rest of the night and she's like "so.. do you.. like him?" and of course I was like "no! no! I'm dating someone, I couldn't" and she reminds me like "your in an open relationship" and sure, she's right but it felt weird at the time since I learned all of his past. (most of it, lol.) So after me and my bf leave the meetup, we're just hanging out in our bedroom, talking about the night and what we did, usual stuff. So like in every story, he goes to take a shower and get ready to sleep and obvi a text pops up, but I notice it's not one but 3 texts from the same person. I don't wanna be a snoop but asking him wouldn't go very well. I quickly glance over at his phone and see that the message is from the same dude I was talking to at the meetup, lets call him Jeremy. So Jeremy texts my bf 3 times saying stuff like "cya again soon?' and weird stuff like "my house next time?" and I'm thinking "okay, maybe they'll just play video games or something dumb." but the context clues bro, they told me "nah he's seeing him." so that was mostly it. Long story short I confronted my bf Abt it and he admitted to it, me and my bf and now on good terms and are thinking about separating or reestablishing our boundaries.
