Hot take on Virginia Woolf

Currently dragging through To the Lighthouse. Winding, meandering, superfluous writing but not in a good way (my humble humble opinion only). There are times when I read works of lit that are hyped and touted to be great and I’m left severely underwhelmed, and other times I’m blown away by a book that garners no apparent mass appreciation. Am I missing something with this author? Or is this a case of Not For Me.
