The Wind in the Willows
Recently, I’ve been into reading a lot of classic children’s literature. Just the other day, I talked about the original Wonderful Wizard of Oz novel. Another book I recently reread was The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Graham. I remember reading this book for the first time in 4th grade and instantly loving it.
The main story is about Mole, Ratty, & Badger trying to help Mr. Toad after his motorcar obsession gets him into trouble. There’s also a few stories that have nothing to do with the main story but do a great job of fleshing out the secondary characters.
For those of you who remember reading this novel as a kid (or has reread it since), what did you think?
