I’ve seen a couple of these posts on here and they are so interesting to me because you get a snapshot directly into OP’s person. These are my ‘serious’ reads - I haven’t done Homer yet but they will be my first reads of the NY. Two books I simply could not get behind were Bukowski’s ahem poetry You Get So Alone and Ayn Rand, The Fountainhead, the latter of which I know is deeply polarising. Safe to say I have been polarised by it towards the ‘WTF Is This’ side.
