Has anyone used a "pre-made" itinerary before? Black Tomato? Planning trip to Rome, Q2 2025

If anyone has general recommendations (hotels, TOURS, activities, etc) on things they've done that are amazing in Rome, please chime in, but I do have more Qs than just that...

Beginning to think about an April/May trip to Rome (and maybe other cities?), and have a million different questions, and most of them come down to the fact that I do not have it in me to research and plan a trip, and I do not know what's possible or easiest as far as looking elsewhere for a planned out trip -- a TA? An itinerary service? How do I find the right one?

My little sister is turning 30 this summer. We did Barcelona, Collioure, Carcassone, and Toulouse for my 30th a few years ago. She's never been to Rome (but has done Venice, Milan, Como) and wants to go. I've been a few times and would like to spend at least a few days there, but also go some other places. I think my primary hang up is making this Rome part more special, ideally with some unique or exclusive tours, classes, or other activities. I'd like to hit one or two additional destinations, but don't have anything in mind. I think a safe budget is $10K per person, 7-10 days including travel? Is that too low to be in this sub?

Do travel agents plan multi-destination trips with travel and tours? Has anyone used a service like Black Tomato or Enchanting Travels to "buy" a pre-planned trip from them? Am I better off going to a service like BT or ET versus going to a TA? (FWIW, I recognize the price difference between those is different; BT definitely seems chubby to me, ET seems very cheap, but they call themselves luxe so is BT just price gouging?)

Has anyone booked one of these types of pre-planned trips before, or have they worked with a TA to build an itinerary? Has anyone had a fabulous TA that's put together a good multi-destination trip?

I'm very open to a TA responding here, as I find it daunting to even think about finding a tour itinerary service, because who knows if BT is the best or another company would have a better itinerary or a better series of tours?
