No kids but I'm not career driven either

This has probably been posted before but. I have always heard people choose to have a career or a family, sometimes they can do both but what if I want neither?

I really just want to work a job I don't hate, have a nice little place for me and my cat with enough money that I don't stress every day about my finances.
