Rescued dumpster cat vomits all food except for Purina Pro Plan duck pate for sensitive stomaches
I rescued a 3 legged tortie who was malnourished, covered in fleas, and living near a dumpster. Turns out, virtually every cat food we have tried makes her vomit. Kibble, pate, grain free, limited ingredient, et cetera. The only food we have found that works is incredibly expensive, so I’m trying to find a more cost effective option to pair with it if at all possible. I’m of course relieved to have found this option for her, but it’s about $120 usd per month.
Does anyone feed their cat this specific duck pate for sensitive skin and stomaches by Purina Pro Plan? Curious if you have found any complimentary foods that your cat also tolerates?
I’m a dog nerd, so cat nutrition is relatively new to me. Some research indicates kibble is good for healthy feline teeth, some say wet food is the healthiest choice for obligate carnivores. Open to any suggestions y’all might have. Thank you so much for reading this!
