Casablanca Crashes on MacBook Pro M4 with macOS Sequoia 15.2 – Compatibility Issue?
Hi everyone,
I’ve been using the Casablanca app on my MacBook Pro M1 running macOS Ventura 13.4 without any problems. However, after upgrading to a new MacBook Pro M4 (running macOS Sequoia 15.2), I’m now facing an issue.
When I launch Casablanca on the M4, the progress bar appears with the message:
"We are optimizing the deep learning model. It should take 2-3 minutes. Please wait..."
Shortly after, the progress window crashes and closes itself. I’ve tried reinstalling the app, restarting my Mac, and waiting for the process to finish, but nothing works.
I’ve also noticed that the Casablanca process shows up in Activity Monitor when I launch the app.
I’m wondering if this issue is related to compatibility with macOS Sequoia 15.2, as the app was working fine on Ventura 13.4 with my older MacBook Pro M1.
Has anyone faced a similar issue or know if Casablanca is compatible with macOS Sequoia? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
