Canberrans need to learn how to zipper merge.

In every other city capital city and some of the bigger non capital citys, its just common knowlegde that if there is traffic trying to merge into 1 lane you let one car in then the car behind them lets you in.

Not in Canberra though.

People let 2 people in, people try and push in when its not their turn, I have seen 2 days in a row where a tip truck tried to zipper merge and the car who should of let them in decided nah that tipper is not getting in front of me.

Before you all bombard me with messages saying how this happens in all city's yes it does but it is significantly worse here.

And wave when someone lets you into a lane. Even Sydney you get a wave when you let someone get into your lane.
