Sincere question: if you believe McD will eventually outsmart Andy Reid, why?
I’ve found myself in the anger stage of dealing with grief and complaining on reddit has been semi therapeutic for me. But I do want to hear from the optimists as well as the other complainers like myself.
What logic do you use to tell yourself that McD will become smarter or will improve at the chess match type thinking against Andy Reid?
People have said that our draft class will improve in year 2, but won’t that be the case for every team? Isn’t that the case for Xavier worthy as well?
If you think we’ll add the pieces we currently need, I’d counter that ALL nfl teams will be doing the same.
I personally think that the McD window is closed and I’d be ok with him being let go (I know he won’t be). If you’re thinking “who would we replace him with that’s better?”, I would say that EVERY good nfl coach who has won was relatively unknown until they started winning. Like, every single coach.
I want to believe he can do it, I really truly like the guy, but it’s been too many sad playoff exits for me. I want better for Josh. I want a team that looks mentally prepared.
