Will earl grey tea stain my teeth?!

Black tea drinkers please weigh in! I'm in the first week of my braces... and I LOVE drinking a black tea in the mornings (usually early grey, orange pekoe, etc.) Has anyone had issues with their teeth becoming stained? I read that adding milk helps with this, because the casein in milk binds with the tannins in tea... but I'm still nervous and curious if anyone in here is a daily tea drinker, and if you've had issues with stains on your teeth after braces came off? I'm staying on top of my oral hygiene, but if it does cause dramatic stains I'll switch back to coffee for the time being.
