Brothers Karamazov is the peak novel for me

It’s so wild and fresh and nonsensical, but I can honestly say that I have never felt so deeply for characters in my life. I don’t want to add any spoilers with more details, but the way it wraps up felt so poignant and pointless at the same time, exactly like life.

Dostoyevsky is the most talented author for me as well. Not necessarily my most “entertaining” author to read, that’s probably Steinbeck, but reading this and then reading The Underground Man directly after took me to heights no other books have.

What about you all?
