Amazing hospitality and amazing fauna, had an amazing experience in bihar
This was my first time in bihar (for a significant time). I had some work. Was coming solo but then I was accompanied by mum and masi. Thank you for the members of this sub to help me out with places to eat and ways to move.
First of all damn, y'all have a lot of toddy palms all over, soooo many of them. Patna felt a bit congested but after I was out... It smelled fresh. Roads are Makhan till chhapra except for a stretch with so many speed bumps. Had street side litti chokha in a market near sitapur and it was so yummy. The rich taste of "sarso tel" had a long lasting effect on me lol. It was good.
Now I was really surprised to see how cooperative the people are. A kind man literally guided us so well through the city. In Delhi auto drivers are known to misbehave but not here. Just got a few ogles here and there and a guy saying "mai beti langte ayil badi" (confirmed this with a friend)... Apart from this it was so beautiful.
The women omg... They are so friendly and their hospitality is unmatched. Was invited for meals and snacks by so many women. Saw cattle getting milked while having buffalo tea milk, it was so fun. In love with bihar and it's people.
