InvestEngine is an investment platform, offering SIPPs, ISAs and General Investment Accounts (GIAs). They offer popular ETFs, including low cost index options such as the Vanguard FTSE All-World, among many others.
As part of their drive to increase market share in the UK, they're currently running a refer a friend offer. This enables new customers to get a free £20-£100, by investing £100 for 12 months.
There are no platform or dealing fees for investing in a DIY portfolio. Which makes it a popular option for people transferring from the Vanguard platform.
Alternatively, if you opt for a managed portfolio, then there is a low fee of 0.25% (I opted for the DIY option to avoid fees personally).
InvestEngine is covered by the standard £85,000 FSCS investor compensation scheme. Although individual investments can of course go up or down.

Steps:
- Sign up using a referral link
- Invest £100 into your chosen investment.
- You will then be notified once you can claim the bonus. Mine took a couple of hours, but it can take a few days.
- Ensure that you keep the investment for 12 months (otherwise the bonus is removed).
- Optional - you can then refer people using your own referral link, for additional bonuses.
