Anyone else dislike modern Batman comics?

A common sentiment I see in many Batman readers is that the writing and whatnot has been in decline since the end of Snyder's run, and I conpletely agree. I read through King's run, and honestly as much as I hated each issue I read, I feel like the current comics aren't much better. I read up to #138 and just had to put my phone down. Batman literally can't stop losing, Alfred is dead, hes broke and no longer in possession of the manor, he's missing a hand, he's at odds with the Batfamily, etc. I just can't stand these new comics, theyre always like 40% Batman and the rest is made up of random arcs for Batfamily characters (which in my opinion has gotten way too expansive). I don't like how large the Batfamily has gotten and I very much dislike how Batman is constantly made to be an asshole. I also used to love Jorge's art, but now when I try to catch up everything just seems too bright and colorful. I honestly just think Batman needs a restart. Just alone, with Alfred, and panels that are draped in shadows and suspension. I am so tired of new characters constantly being made and substantial changes to Batman's character/body every 5 issues. Also, the constant multiversal shit in modern DC comics has really ruined the cool mystique of the subject. I would just love a fresh, new Batman run that is free from any previously-made changes. A large, Gotham with impossibly tall gothic structures and just Batman and Alfred battling the crime together. I know I'm describing probably what would be a possibility for an elseworlds story, but I want an actual run and not a small series. These are all my opinions, and I'm sure there's many that would disagree with me, but I'd like to know what this particular subreddit thinks. EDIT: I forgot to touch on Ghostmaker, I think his character is one of the worst contributions to Batman mythos in years. Bruce's journey to become Batman was supposed to be one of loneliness, struggle, and kind of something that only HE has done, and now the writers decided to be like "oh yea also there was this guy that also basically trained with him everywhere" Ghostmaker (imo) kinda ruins and doesn't really fit in with the early days of Batman and his mythos in general.
