Is WAV better than flac?

I had always just used mp3 but because of a new dap im thinking of reripping with flacs, but since memory cost isn’t really the issue that it was 25 years ago would it be better to just rip wav files instead? My library is just under 10k songs so it’s not like its too large of a project to get it all done over a couple months
