Need Advice: PR Appointment Coming Up, what should I expect

Hey everyone,

I applied for my PR (Blue Card with 27+ months) in the last week of October without submitting a language certificate or a LiD. Then, about two and a half weeks later (mid-November), I received an appointment for mid-March.

Now, the rules have changed—both a LiD and a language certificate are required. My appointment is in two weeks, and I've been waiting forever for this day. I’m really worried about what happens now. Should I just lower my expectations and expect the process to drag on at least another six months while I try to pass the German and LiD tests? What could actually happen during the interview?

I feel super insecure about this whole situation. Any advice, similar experiences, or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
