Childcare recommendations anyone?

What are you doing/have you done for childcare during the first year of life of your child?

We signed up for multiple daycare waitlists but they all seem to start at 18+ months. Our baby is 4 months old. What have you done in the meantime? We both work full time and our parents don’t live in the area.
