Poolside evergreen. Wife thinks it needs to get cut down. Looking for opinions

I love this beautiful tree by the pool but it is growing exponentially. It has already taken over one of the arborvitae on the left side. I trim the front as high as I can reach to keep it from encroaching on the concrete deck. It is also aggressively coming through the fence behind it. We also feel like it may be a harbor for mosquitoes.

How much could we realistically and safely trim it back? Could you envision any future damage to the pool deck or fence from the roots?
