Yaesu FT-60R
Hello everyone, I'm LU7DGU from Argentina, I would like to share with you my recent acquisition, a beautiful Yaesu FT-60R, programming it was like eating cookies, because programming a Baofeng seemed like a big pain in the ass and I wanted to get away from that, without belittling the Baofeng, which here in Argentina is the first radio that the new radio amateur buys because of its low cost, after programming it the signals came out to shine: local police in analog VHF, firefighters, paramedics and after learning, I managed with much effort to locate an analog trunking system at 800Mhz on a field trip to a rural town and hear public safety, this HT reminds me a lot of the Yaesu VX-5R that I used as a child, owned by my father who was a policeman, I would ask you for some extra advice for the handling of this radio, which unfortunately here is expensive and a highly prized radio model.
