TBAS Improvement
Hey folks,
Just looking for some advice here. Recently took the TBAS and am extremely disappointed with my scores. PCSM is 52 with 3 flight hours and a 99 pilot score. Score goes to 74 with max flight hours.
I walked out of the test actually thinking I did well on everything besides the tracking portion. I only missed one of the UAV questions and was extremely quick (<1 second) on the vast majority. The multi tasking I thought I did pretty well on as well.
I bought the test prep software about 2 weeks ago and did it for a couple hours a night and felt solid.
Overall just feeling pretty defeated, so a couple questions below -
While I did feel like I did poorly on the tracking, is it possible that dragged my score down that much?
I’m 100% planning on retaking it. I’m a Non-Prior civilian, god forbid I do terribly again, would I need a waiver for a third attempt and is that something a civilian can actually get?
I was planning on applying for Reserve/Guard units and then AD in FY26 if that doesn’t pan out. Should I even put applications in for units that are open right now, or just hold off until I retest?
And finally, anyone else have the same experience? Namely using the practice software, feeling good and still doing poorly? It seems like everyone on here says the test is too easy now.
