Any thyroid cancer survivors here?

I couldn’t find the perfect flair. Apologies.

I’m currently in the pre-authorization phase but I’m confident I’ll be approved.

I am a thyroid cancer survivor who is wondering if there are people like me on Zepbound. I take 150 mcg’s of levothyroxine daily. I gained about 60 pounds in the last year that includes the leading up to my total thyroidectomy and following it. My cancer metastasized to my lymph nodes and I had Radioactive Iodine (RAI) treatment. Since my RAI, I have battled weight gain, extreme fatigue, hair thinning, and brain fog. I saw on the thyroid cancer survivors subreddit that some of them have taken GLP’s.

Anyone here that is like me (even a little) who can give me some hope???

Edited to add: I have/had papillary thyroid cancer. According to my doctors, I’m not at risk of the medullary thyroid cancer that has been tied to GLP’s. I’ve talked with my medical team both my endocrinologist and GP agree that I should try this.

I was just looking for my “people” that are already here. I was hoping to hear from them to see if this path was right for me based on their personal experiences. And many people have come forward to confirm that. Thank you for your responses.

I’m sorry if I triggered or worried people.
