I hope the power creep ends...

Maybe wishful thinking but hear me out. Miyabi is insane and I love it. My two main damage dealers before her we Ellen and Jane. Ellen was pure raw damage. Jane was little pokes leading up to a big boom of damage. Miyabi feels like best of both worlds, massive raw damage with each tick leading up to huge burst of even more damage.

She is such a blast to play... but it leaves me with concerns... If we ever reach the point where she feels lacking compared to someone new, then all the agents below her will just become objectively useless. What I would prefer rather than continuously one-upping previous agents is to make new ways to enhance our existing agents. Something to bring them up to speed so they can keep up with the big dogs, or at least be usable. This game has a great cast. And especially with skins rolling out soon, it would just really suck if past agents become progressively more and more obsolete compared to new agents.

It makes sense from a financial stance too. keeping agents relevant means more pulls during reruns. Ellen is absolutely my favorite character in the game, but even so, I'm now having second thoughts on pulling on her rerun when that could go to new agents or Miyabi mindscapes.
